  5. AmigaGuide, AmigaGuide.info, amigaguide.library, WDisplay, WDisplay.info,
  6. InstallAmigaGuide, InstallAmigaguide.info (hereinafter "Files") and their
  7. related documentation, utilities, and examples
  8. (c) Copyright 1991-93 Commodore-Amiga, Inc.  All Rights Reserved

  10. These Files and their related documentation, utilities, and examples
  11. are provided "AS-IS" and subject to change without notice; no warranties
  12. are made.  All use is at your own risk.  No liability or responsibility
  13. is assumed.

  16. A. DISTRIBUTION OF UNMODIFIED AMIGAGUIDE DEVELOPER ARCHIVE
  17.  
  18. The complete and unmodified AmigaGuide developer archive, as provided
  19. by Commodore, may be freely redistributed via any means which preserves
  20. its copyrights.  The archive may not be sold for profit.

  23. B. DISTRIBUTION OF AMIGAGUIDE SEPARATE FROM DEVELOPER ARCHIVE

  25. Specific Files from the archive may be reproduced and distributed
  26. separately under license subject to agreement with the following terms
  27. and conditions (wherein the reference to Files shall mean AmigaGuide,
  28. AmigaGuide.info, amigaguide.library, WDisplay, WDisplay.info,
  29. InstallAmigaGuide, InstallAmigaguide.info, either individually or
  30. collectively):

  32. 1.   The Files may be reproduced but may not be modified in any way.
  33.  
  34. 2.   The Files may only be distributed as an integral part of a software
  35.      product solely for Commodore Amiga computers.
  36.  
  37. 3.   The related documentation, utilities, and examples provided by
  38.      Commodore may not be reproduced or distributed, in whole or in part,
  39.      except as part of a complete and unmodified archive as provided by
  40.      Commodore.

  42. 4.   Licensee shall hold Commodore harmless from any and all claims, damages
  43.      and liabilities resulting from or arising out of its use or distribution
  44.      of the Files.

  46. 5.   All copies of Licensee's software product containing the Files and
  47.      of Licensee's product documentation related thereto (either paper
  48.      or electronic) must include the following copyright notice:

  51.   (c) Copyright 1991-93 Commodore-Amiga, Inc.  All Rights Reserved.
  52.   Reproduced and distributed under license from Commodore.

  54. 6.   Licensee's product documentation (either paper or electronic) must also
  55.      include a disclaimer substantially similar to the following:

  57.      AMIGAGUIDE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE;
  58.      NO WARRANTIES ARE MADE.  ALL USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.  NO LIABILITY
  59.      OR RESPONSIBILITY IS ASSUMED.

  61. 7.   Licensee may only distribute the versions of the Files that have
  62.      been approved by Commodore for electronic licensing as evidenced by
  63.      Commodore's inclusion of the Files in an official Commodore archive
  64.      or diskette containing the Files, the related documentation,
  65.      utilities, and examples, and this Electronic License Agreement.
  66.      Ongoing distributions must include only the most recently approved
  67.      releases of the Files which Commodore has designated for electronic
  68.      licensing and distribution.

  70. 8.   The Files may not be installed on a user's system or Workbench
  71.      unless the installation procedure included with Licensee's product has
  72.      determined that the user's system or Workbench does not contain a more
  73.      recent version of the Files.
  74.  
  75. 9.   Such technical information as is contained in the Files (and any
  76.      product thereof) or in the related documentation, utilities, and
  77.      examples may not be exported in contravention of the laws and
  78.      regulations of the United States.
  79.  
  80. 10.  Prior to any distribution of the Files, Licensee must acknowledge and
  81.      consent to these terms by forwarding a completed and signed copy of
  82.      this entire Agreement, on paper, to:

  85. 11.  Commodore may terminate this license at any time, with or without cause.
  86.      This license and Licensee's rights hereunder will automatically
  87.      terminate upon any breach of these terms and conditions.  Upon any
  88.      such termination, Licensee shall destroy all copies of the Files and
  89.      the related documentation, utilities, and examples in its possession.
